What I’ve Learned in 8 Months of Running Wild Berry Creative

When I launched Wild Berry Creative eight months ago, I had no idea where this adventure would take me. What started as a spark of an idea — to help small businesses grow through thoughtful marketing — has turned into a real business with real clients, real projects, and (yes) real lessons learned.
So today, I want to pull back the curtain and share some behind-the-scenes reflections — the good, the hard, and the beautiful — from this journey so far.
🌿 1. Small Wins Matter (a Lot)
In a world that’s always chasing big numbers — thousands of followers, viral posts, massive sales — I’ve learned to celebrate the small wins:
A client’s first sale from an email campaign.
A post that made someone say, “Wow, this is so me.”
A brand feeling more confident showing up online.
Those moments? They’re why I do this.

From local makers to niche startups, every client has something special. Part of my work at Wild Berry Creative is helping them see that — and then shaping their unique story into visuals, words, and strategies that connect with their audience.

I’ve pivoted services, tested offers, changed up my social posts — and that’s okay! Running a creative business is messy sometimes, but what matters is showing up, learning, and staying flexible. Perfection isn’t the goal; progress is.

One of my favorite surprises? How many people are rooting for small businesses and creatives like me. From supportive clients to fellow marketers, this journey has reminded me how much power there is in connection and collaboration.
